- BERJAYA University College of Hospitality and Chinese Institute of International Education Visit Yinxing
On December 6, 2018, General Manager Yu Qi of the Marketing Department of the China Institute of International Education and Manager Liu Boyang of the International Relations Department visited Yinxing Hospitality Management College together with GLENN CHU, head of Greater China from the BERJAYA University College of Hospitality (formerly Berjaya University College). President Xu Renzhong, head of the Department of the Financial Management of the Yinxing Hospitality Management Collegeof Yinxing, Ddeputy Ddirector Xi Lili of the Teaching Affairs Office, and Ddeputy Ddirector Wang Junjie of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department Office received the visiting guests and held an exchange meeting. Mr Xu, on behalf of the CollegeYinxing, extended a warm welcome to Mr GLENN CHU and made a detailed introduction to the basic situation of the CollegeYinxing, its construction plan of a new campus in Yibin City, Sichuan Province, and its international exchanges and cooperations.Mr GLENN CHU thanked the College for its warm reception and introduced the basics of the BERJAYA University College of Hospitality.He further introduced the composition of the main departments of the BERJAYA University College of Hospitality, its theory on school management, and its international students. Adhering to the concept of mutual consultation, co-construction and sharing, the two parties extensively discussed the following aspects: promotion of students' academic qualifications, exchange of international students, and transfer of students from the Yinxing Hospitality Management College to the BERJAYA University College of Hospitality for short-term study and internship.Through exchanges and discussions, both parties initially reached an intention to jointly build a friendly exchange and cooperation platform to promote international exchanges in school management.

- Students from the Department of the Financial Management of Yinxing Attend the 22nd UNWTO Plenary Session
On September 13, 2017, as the conference with the highest specifications in the international tourism industry, the 22nd UNWTO Plenary Session opened in Chengdu and more than 1,000 representatives from over 150 countries were in attendance.On the evening of September 14, the reception dinner was grandly held at Wanda Reign Hotel for UNWTO officials, tourism ministers from more than 150 countries and special guests.A total of 155 students from the Department of the Financial HotelManagement of the Yinxing Hospitality Management College of Chengdu University of Information Technology were invited towork for the reception dinner. The hotel offered the students professional training on banquet service skills in advance and the students also strengthened their exercises based on their theoretical study at the school.During their service, the students fully practiced the service spirit of hotel staff with enthusiasm, professional skills, and smiles and were highly praised by the guests and the hotel.The activity was also a rare social practice for the students and meant much to them.

- “Meeting Again Some Day” Graduation Farewell Party for Thai Students
On the afternoon of June 21, the 2017 Graduation Party for International Students from Thailand was held in room 1122.Associate Dean Liu Dan, teachers from the International College, and all the Thai students who would be graduated in 2017 attended the party. The farewell party was first addressed by Associate Dean Liu Dan. She hoped that after returning home, the international students would continue to maintain a high enthusiasm for learning and actively promote their own development, gave them her best wishes, and expressed her sincere hope that they could pass on what they had seen and heard in China to more Thai friends and serve as a bridge for the development of China-Thailand friendship.Xiaofang shared her one-year study and life in China on behalf of the international students.Associate Dean Liu Dan gave 24 international students the certificates of course completion. The "Meeting Again Some Day" graduation farewell party for Thai students came to an end in the song of When the Full Moon Rises chorused by the teachers and students.

- Co-construct an Internship Base by the Ritz Carlton Hotel,Chengdu and the Department of the Financial Management
On the afternoon of April 26, the signing ceremony for the establishment of an internship and employment base by the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Marriott R&F Building and the Department of the Financial Management of the Yinxing Hospitality Management College of Chengdu University of Information Technology was unveiled at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Chengdu. The two parties held a symposium first. The CEO of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Ms Song Yao and the Professor and Director of the Department of Financial Management Zhu Min exchanged opinions on each other's financial issues and discussed conductedin-depth discussion onthe teaching, curriculum guide, professional certificate, learning ability, spoken English, and the differences between hotel business accounting and industrial business accounting. Hou Bo, Head of the Office of Teaching Affairs and Scientific Research, said that the CollegeYinxing had attached great importance to the cooperation on internship with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.Its departments including the Department of Financial Management had long worked with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel to train hotel accounting personnel by combining production with learning and study and to promote teaching reform and the cultivation of accounting demonstration professionals.He hoped that the cooperation with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel would further motivate the training of hotel finance professionals for international hospitalities. After the strategic MOU signing between Yinxing and Swiss Education Group (SEG), a Summit & the International Forum on Hospitality Management Education was successfully held from December 2-7, 2019 in Yinxing. In the afternoon, the two sides conducted discussion and exchange revolving around student cultivation, diploma promotion, further education, co-training and establishment of faculty team. The Yinxing-SEG International Hotel Management Talent Forum was held from December 3-6. The experts of SEG and the teachers of Yinxing shared their own academic views on the overview of international hotel management industry, international talent development and advanced training concept, contemporary trend of the tourism and hotel management industry, hotel management education system and teaching model in Swiss, the full exploitation of students’ potential, the prospects of hotel management and the tourism industry, and experiential teaching in the practice. The experts from SEG also visited the teaching classrooms of several majors such as hotel management, tourism management, exhibition economy and management; in addition they gave thematic lectures to students. Experts from SEG expressed that they have felt advanced teaching concept and solid foundation. The successful holding of forum has strengthened the communication between Yinxing and the SEG, and laid the foundation for the future cooperation.

- Introduction of Foreign Professionals to Broaden the International Vision of Students
At 9:00, November 17, the newly recruited foreign teachers of Yinxing Hospitality Management College of Chengdu University of Information Technology were conducting the tennis teaching activity at the CollegeYinxing's No. 2 tennis court.They are Yin Wanna and Marco, tennis coaches with "B" -level qualifications of the Serbian national tennis center. In the “"international”" classroom, the teachers and students cooperated tacitly.Foreign teachers' rich industry experience, professional tennis skills, and rigorous requirements for movement made the students understand fusion of two cultures; with cheerful personality and humorous language, they greatly aroused the students' enthusiasm.In addition to professional training, the students also improved their oral English. Through teaching, foreign professionals can help the students to develop creative thinking, broaden their international perspectives, and improve their comprehensive quality.
