At present, the Hotel Management Department has two undergraduate majors in hotel management and property management, and three junior college majors in hotel management, cooking techniques and nutrition, and property management. It mainly cultivates senior business management personnel for the large accommodation industry. As the first undergraduate college to offer hotel management major in China, Gingko College has always attached great importance to the construction of the hotel management major. In recent years, Gingko College has taken it as the leading major to meet the needs of the industry and implement the characteristic development strategy, and also the core major to deepen the comprehensive reform of education and promote the application-oriented transformat ion and development. As the department's major construction level and talent training quality are recognized by the whole industry represented by cooperative units, it has been awarded honorary titles such as "excellent talent training school for hotel and tourism industry", the best cooperative school of Hilton Group, the outstanding contribution award for talent training of Hilton Group, and the outstanding contribution award for school-enterprise strategic cooperation of Hilton Group by the Very East Summit.

Hotel Management

(Undergraduate Course.Four-year System)

Training objective: This major cultivates high-quality application-oriented talents who have international vision and professional quality in service industry, good communication skills, language communication ability and the ability to apply modern information tools, understand the development prospect and trend of large accommodation industry, and grasp the operation and management of big accommodation industry and knowledge of the operation system. In addition, talents are provided withhumanistic spirit and cultural tolerance, and arequalified for the operation and management of international hotel groups, domestic chain hotel groups, homestays and apartments.

Property Management

(Undergraduate Course. Four-year System)

Training objective: Training objective: This major cultivates application-oriented compound talents who can adapt to the development need of property management, have high theoretical attainment for modern management and good professional ethics, and have the basic ability for property management and real estate business planning. Talents will be familiar with the property management and real estate related guidelines, policies, laws and regulations, and can be engaged in property management and real estate business management in property service enterprises, real estate development and operation enterprises, intermediary organizations, institutions and governmental departments.

Training objective: This major cultivates application-oriented talents who have the basic theories and skills for modern hotel management, are familiar with relevant national policies and principles, can adapt to the development needs of social economy and hotel industry, master modern hotel operation and management methods, and have strong spirit of innovation, sense of competition, good professional quality and strong sense of modern service.

Training objective: This major cultivates application-oriented technical talents who can adapt to the development needs of property management, take the property management services and property operation services at the first place, have good professional ethics, possesscertain property management ability and master the basic skills of property services.
